There are 119 men and women that comprise the total strength of the Muskogee Police Department, 91 sworn officers and 28 civilian personnel.  The Patrol Division operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week and is divided into three ten hour shifts. The Department maintains a fleet of 147 vehicles in proper working condition. The annual budget for the Police Department is approximately $6 million.
