Oakley’s Terminal

Under contract with the Muskogee-City County Port Authority, Oakley’s Terminal - Muskogee provides a variety of transloading services in the public terminal area at the Port of Muskogee.

The Terminal has extensive capabilities for barge, rail and truck shipping as well as receiving of commodities. Oakley’s Terminal - Muskogee handles large volumes of bulk and break bulk commodities including containers, steel pipe, coil, plate, beam, sand, salt, coal, coke, fertilizer, grain, paper, scrap, glass and ore.

For year round shippers of steel, bulk commodities or raw products, ice-free Oakley’s Terminal - Muskogee offers major advantages in material logistics control including decades of leadership experience in tailoring all capabilities and available resources to customers' scheduling, equipment and operational needs.

Paragon industries also occupies a 20,000-square-foot building on the property which houses a state-of-the-art steel coil facility capable of slitting coils up to 72 inches wide and 1/2-inch thick.

With today’s critical emphasis on cost control and increased profitability, more companies are realizing the substantial financial benefits of inland waterway shipping. Products shipped by barge are a fraction of railroad costs, due to increased cargo capacity resulting in greater energy and operational efficiencies.
