Dream It. Do It. Muskogee

What is DREAM IT. DO IT.?

Today’s manufacturing is about advanced technologies, state of the art facilities, and fast paced work environments. However, only 35 percent of parents say they would encourage their children to pursue careers in manufacturing, despite the advanced skills and high pay that are characteristic of work in today’s advanced manufacturing industry. This is due to a perception of manufacturing that existed a generation ago but does not represent the current reality of the industry.

Dream It. Do It. is a national initiative launched by The Manufacturing Institute in 2005. Dream It. Do It. works to change the negative perception of the manufacturing industry and inspire next-generation workers to pursue manufacturing careers.

Muskogee DREAM IT. DO IT.

The Muskogee Dream It. Do It. Committee was formed in 2016 by the Muskogee City-County Port Authority. Through a coalition of workforce, education and industry partners, Muskogee-area youth are gaining valuable exposure to local manufacturing career opportunities and a unique experience to engage with future employers.
